Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026. This policy explains what personal data EYclue collects, why, and the choices you have.

1. What we collect

Newsletter: if you sign up, we store your email address and, if you provide it, your name, so we can send you updates.

Toolkit entries: information you type into the curriculum builder, evidence log, funding record and celebration pages is used to generate your downloads. Where member accounts are offered, your saved entries are linked to your account so you can return to them.

2. Children's data

EYclue is designed for adult practitioners. Please avoid entering children's full names or other identifying details into free-text fields; use initials or first names only. Any child-level information you do enter into your own downloads is your responsibility to store and share safely under data protection law and your setting's policies.

3. How we use your data

  • To send the newsletter you asked for (you can unsubscribe at any time).
  • To generate and deliver the documents you create.
  • To process payments and manage membership (payment details are handled by our payment provider, not stored by us).
  • To keep the site secure and understand, in aggregate, how it is used.

4. Legal bases (UK GDPR)

We rely on your consent for the newsletter, on contract for providing paid products and membership, and on legitimate interests for running and improving the site.

5. Sharing and storage

Your data is stored securely within our hosting and database providers. We do not sell your personal data. We only share it with the service providers needed to run the site (hosting, database, email and payments), each under appropriate safeguards.

6. Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, object to its use, or withdraw consent at any time. To unsubscribe from the newsletter, use the unsubscribe page. For any other request, contact us via the details on our About page. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

7. Cookies

The site uses only the essential storage needed to run (for example, keeping you signed in if you have a member account). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
