Terms & Conditions
Last updated: September 2026. These terms govern your use of EYclue and any templates, workbooks or downloads you obtain from it.
1. Who we are
EYclue is an early years toolkit for childcare providers, compiled by Tsehay Alemayehu. It provides curriculum builders, evidence logs, funding records, celebration boards and downloadable templates aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and early years inspection evaluation areas.
2. Using the site
You may use the site and its free tools for your own setting's planning and record-keeping. You agree to provide accurate information in any forms you complete and not to misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, or scrape its content at scale.
3. Downloads and your own content
Curriculum documents, evidence logs and other files you generate using your own entries belong to you and may be used freely within your setting, including for inspection evidence. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for keeping any child-level data in your downloads secure in line with data protection law.
4. Paid products and membership
Paid downloads (pay-as-you-go) and memberships are charged at the prices shown at the point of purchase. Digital downloads are delivered immediately; because of their nature, refunds are only offered where a file is faulty or not as described, in line with your statutory rights. Membership renews monthly and can be cancelled at any time, with access continuing to the end of the paid period.
5. Intellectual property
The site's design, text, templates and branding are the property of EYclue. You may not resell, republish or redistribute our template files as competing products. Documents you generate with your own setting's details are yours to keep and use.
6. Guidance, not legal advice
EYclue supports good early years practice but is not a substitute for statutory guidance, Ofsted requirements or professional judgement. Always check the current EYFS statutory framework and inspection handbook for your setting's obligations.
7. Liability
We work hard to keep the site accurate and available, but it is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses or for decisions made solely on the basis of the toolkit. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Changes and contact
We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top shows the latest version. Questions about these terms can be sent via the newsletter contact details on our About page.
